Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 6 September 2026
1. Introduction and acceptance of these terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Afroshift Packaging online shop (the "Shop") and any orders you place through it. The Shop is operated by Afroshift Packaging (Tshuks Trading Co.), with its store in Harare, Graniteside, Zimbabwe ("we", "us", "our").
By browsing the Shop, creating an account, placing an order, or contacting us through the Shop, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Shop or place an order. These Terms are written in plain language for clarity, but they are a legally binding agreement between you and us.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version displayed on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order. Material changes will be highlighted on the Shop.
2. About us and the service
We are a wholesale supplier of packaging and disposable products — including plastic tubs, cups, foil rolls, serviettes, bin liners and related lines — supplied in consignments from our headquarters in China and stocked at our store in Harare, Graniteside.
The Shop lets you browse our current stock, add products to a cart, place an order online, and collect it at our store. We do not take online payment: you pay in cash when you collect (or when delivery is delivered, if agreed).
We sell in wholesale quantities and welcome both businesses and individuals. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or place an order.
3. Definitions
In these Terms:
• "Order" means a request you submit through the Shop to purchase products;
• "Pickup Code" means the 4-digit code we generate when your order is placed, used to identify and hand over your order;
• "Products" means the goods listed on the Shop;
• "Sale" means a completed transaction — an Order becomes a Sale only when you pay for it at pickup;
• "USD" means United States Dollars;
• "Working hours" means our store opening hours, shown on the Shop and at the store.
4. Products, descriptions and availability
We take reasonable care to describe and display products accurately, including names, sizes, packaging, images and stock levels. However:
• Images are illustrative. Actual products may differ slightly in appearance, shade or packaging details.
• Slight variations in weight, count or finish are normal in wholesale goods and are not defects.
• Stock levels shown on the Shop are updated regularly but can change quickly, especially during busy periods. If a product you ordered becomes unavailable, we will tell you at collection and you may either accept a substitute (if agreed), adjust your order, or cancel it at no cost.
• Products marked "Out of stock" cannot be ordered through the Shop.
We are not bound by manifest errors in product descriptions, prices or images, and we reserve the right to correct them.
5. Pricing and currency
• All prices on the Shop are in United States Dollars (USD) and are exclusive of any taxes unless a tax is separately stated.
• Prices shown are the prices applicable at the time you place your order. We may change prices at any time, but a change will not affect an order already placed.
• We take care that prices are correct, but errors can occur. If a product is priced incorrectly, we may contact you before fulfilling the order to confirm the correct price, or cancel the order with no cost to you.
• Payment is accepted in cash, in USD (or its lawful equivalent as agreed at the time), at pickup.
6. Placing an order
To place an order: add products to your cart, go to Checkout, enter your name and phone number (email is optional for guests), and submit the order.
You do not need an account to order — guests can order and track via the order number and Pickup Code. Creating an account is free and lets you track all your orders in one place.
When you submit an order, we will show you a confirmation page with your order number and 4-digit Pickup Code. Please keep both safe — you will need the Pickup Code to collect.
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. We accept the order when we confirm it (usually immediately) and prepare it for collection. We may decline or cancel an order in exceptional circumstances, for example where a product is out of stock, where we suspect fraud or abuse, or where we are prevented by law or practical impossibility from fulfilling it. If we cancel, we will let you know and no payment has been taken.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the contact details you provide. If we cannot reach you about your order, we will hold it for the period in Section 8 and then release the stock.
7. Order status and when a sale is complete
Orders pass through the following statuses:
• Pending — placed, not yet confirmed by our staff.
• Confirmed — we have checked stock and prepared your order for collection.
• Collected — you have paid and taken the order. At this point the order becomes a completed Sale.
• Cancelled — the order has been cancelled by you or by us.
An order is NOT a completed sale until payment is received at pickup. Until then, title in the products remains with us, and nothing in the Shop or order confirmation is a promise of credit or delivery.
You can see the status of your orders in "My orders" (with an account) or by searching your order number.
8. Collection and the Pickup Code
• Orders are collected at our store in Harare, Graniteside, during working hours.
• Bring your 4-digit Pickup Code. Our staff may also ask for identification or to confirm your phone number to protect against wrongful collection.
• If someone else collects on your behalf, they will need the Pickup Code (and ideally your name). Please share it only with someone you trust.
• We hold orders for 7 days from placement. If an order is not collected within 7 days, we may release the stock back for sale. Because no payment has been taken, no refund is due; if you still want the items, you can place a new order.
• If you know you will be late, contact us and we will usually extend the holding period as a courtesy.
9. Payment
• We do not take online payment and we do not store payment details of any kind.
• Payment is in cash, in USD, at the time of collection (or delivery, if agreed).
• Please have the correct amount ready where possible. If we cannot give change for large notes, we may ask you to pay by a combination that we can accommodate.
• Your order becomes a Sale only once payment is received. Until then, either side may cancel without payment being due.
10. Delivery
• We do not currently offer standard delivery. Collection at the store is the default and expected fulfilment method.
• Delivery may be arranged in individual cases by prior written agreement (including by message). Where agreed, delivery charges, timing and area are as agreed with you at that time, and payment is cash on delivery.
• Risk in delivered products passes to you when the products are handed to you or your representative.
11. Returns, exchanges and refunds
Inspect your order at collection:
• Damaged or incorrect goods — if any product is damaged, defective or not what you ordered, tell our staff before you leave. We will exchange it for the correct item where available, or refund the amount paid for that item. This right applies to defects that exist at collection.
• Hygiene products — for health and hygiene reasons, disposable tableware and food-contact items (cups, tubs, foil, serviettes and similar) cannot be returned or exchanged after they leave the store, except for manufacturing defects reported at collection.
• Change of mind — because we sell wholesale goods, we do not accept returns for change of mind. Please choose carefully and, if unsure, ask us before ordering.
• After collection — we cannot accept responsibility for damage that occurs after the products leave the store, or for losses caused by your storage, handling or use of the products.
Refunds (where applicable) are paid in cash, in USD, at the store. We do not process refunds to cards or mobile money because we never take those forms of payment.
12. Warranties and liability
• We supply products that are fit for their ordinary purpose and correspond to their description, as required by law.
• To the maximum extent permitted by Zimbabwe law, our total liability arising from or in connection with any order (whether in contract, delict or otherwise) is limited to the amount you actually paid for the products concerned.
• We are not liable for indirect, special or consequential losses (such as lost profits, lost business or loss of goodwill), even if we were advised of the possibility of such losses.
• Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Zimbabwe law, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any consumer-protection rights that apply to you and cannot be waived.
• You are responsible for ensuring the products are suitable for your intended use and for complying with any laws that apply to your resale or use of the products.
13. Your use of the Shop and acceptable use
You agree to use the Shop lawfully and not to:
• place orders using false, misleading or stolen identity details;
• attempt to interfere with the Shop's operation, security or availability (including hacking, overloading, or automated scraping);
• use the Shop to commit fraud or any unlawful act;
• misuse the Pickup Code system or attempt to collect orders you did not place;
• reverse engineer, copy or commercially exploit the Shop's software beyond normal use.
We may suspend or ban accounts and cancel orders where we reasonably suspect a breach of this clause.
14. Intellectual property
The Shop's design, branding, logos, text, product images, software and system ("AfroshiftERP") are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may use them only for the purpose of shopping with us. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or commercially exploit them without our prior written permission.
Product images provided by our suppliers remain the property of their respective owners.
15. Privacy and personal data
We process your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07]. By using the Shop you confirm you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
In short: we collect only what we need (name, phone, optional email, order details), we never sell your data, and you can access, correct or delete your data at any time.
16. Communications
We may contact you by phone, SMS or email for order-related purposes (confirmation, readiness, collection reminders). These are service messages, not marketing.
We will send marketing or promotional messages only if you separately opt in, and you can opt out at any time.
By providing your phone number, you agree to be contacted about your orders on that number.
17. Force majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including (without limitation) acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, government action, power or network failures, epidemics, or supplier failure. If such an event affects your order, we will contact you to agree the best way forward.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version always appears on this page with its "Last updated" date. Changes do not affect orders placed before the change, unless required by law. Continued use of the Shop after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
19. Severability and waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions stay in full force and effect.
A failure by us to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it and does not stop us from enforcing it later.
20. Entire agreement
These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy) are the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Shop and your orders, and they replace any earlier agreements, understandings or representations (except fraudulent misrepresentation).
21. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe.
We will try to resolve any dispute amicably and quickly. If a dispute cannot be resolved through discussion within a reasonable time, either party may refer it to the courts of Zimbabwe, which will have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any right you have to approach a consumer-protection body or the courts where you reside where the law allows.
22. Complaints procedure
We want every customer to be satisfied. If something is wrong with your order or our service:
• Step 1 — tell our staff at the store or contact us (Section 24). Most issues are resolved immediately.
• Step 2 — if you are still not satisfied, ask to speak to the manager or owner. We will investigate and respond within a reasonable time.
• Step 3 — if the issue remains unresolved, you may pursue your legal remedies, including through the courts or the relevant consumer-protection or regulatory authorities.
23. Limitation of our responsibilities to businesses
Where you are buying wholly or partly for business purposes (as a reseller or trader), to the maximum extent permitted by law:
• our liability is limited to the price you paid for the goods concerned;
• we exclude implied terms and warranties except where they cannot be excluded by law;
• you must inspect goods at collection and give us written notice of any defect within 7 days of collection, failing which the goods are deemed accepted.
This clause does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer where they apply to you.
